Job Description
We are seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the operational management and performance of vessels under our care. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in managing ship operations, maintenance schedules, and crew coordination.
Qualification Requirement
What Experience & Qualification you need for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or equivalent.
COC / Chief Engineer / Master Mariner background preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet operations or technical management.
Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC, and other maritime regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ship management software.
Job Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned vessels.
- Ensure vessels comply with company policies, international maritime regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Technical Superintendents, Crewing Managers, and Port Agents.
- Plan and monitor maintenance, repairs, and dry-dock schedules.
- Review and approve budgets, requisitions, and operational expenses.
- Ensure optimum vessel performance and operational efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with ship owners and clients.
- Handle emergency response and operational challenges promptly.
